How do I submit my ePortfolio link (Mahara) ?
It is important to submit the correct Mahara ePortfolio link to your mentor to ensure they can access and review your work without issues.
Before You Submit
Make sure you have completed these two important steps:
1. Ensure your ePortfolio is shared
- Your mentor must have access permission to view your ePortfolio.
- If not shared, your mentor will receive an “Access Denied” message.

2. Submit the correct ePortfolio link
❌ Wrong Link (Do Not Use)
- Example:
https://elearn.imu.edu.my/mahara/artefact/blog/view/index.php
- This type of link is usually copied from the Journal/Artefact section. Submitting this link will result in access errors for your mentor.
✅ Correct Link (Use This)
- Example:
https://elearn.imu.edu.my/mahara/view/view.php?id=89752
- This link is obtained from: Create → Portfolio
Steps to Submit Your ePortfolio Link
- Go to Create → Portfolio in MAHARA.
- Locate your ePortfolio page or collection.
- Copy the correct page/collection link (ensure it contains
view/view.php). - Go to the eLearn portal submission page.
- Paste the link into the submission field.
- Submit your ePortfolio.
