How do I get the ePortfolio template in MAHARA?

You can obtain the ePortfolio template by copying an existing collection that has been prepared and shared by your programme coordinator.

How to Search and Copy an ePortfolio Collection in MAHARA

Main menu → Create → Portfolio

1. Click the "Copy" button.
2. Use the search field to enter a keyword from the collection or page title. Refer to the template table provided below to ensure you are using the correct keyword for your programme.
3. Click on the collection title to preview its contents before copying.
4. Click the “Copy collection” button to duplicate the entire collection (including all pages) into your own portfolio.
5. You will be redirected to the Edit collection page. Update the Collection name to your name.
6. Edit the Collection description by adding your name and cohort.
7. Click “Next: Edit collection pages”. On the Edit collection pages screen, review all the pages included in the collection.

✅ For BPharm (BP) and Pharm Chem (PC) students: Remove the Self-rating page that does not apply to your programme.

8. Click “Next: Edit access”.
9. On the Edit access page: Use the “Share with” dropdown and select “Person” to share your collection.
10. In the Search field, enter your mentor’s name, then select it from the list.
11. Click “Save” to confirm and apply your changes, or click “Cancel” to discard them.
