Disclaimer (New Students Only) Please make sure your IMU email address is activated before attempting to log in.

Please follow these steps to log in to the eLearn portal.

Please go to elearn.imu.edu.my

Click the ‘Login with IMU email’ button.

Insert your IMU email, then click the ‘Next’ button to proceed.

Insert your password, then click the ‘Sign in’ button to proceed.

If your password is incorrect for 2nd times attempt, please click on the "Forgot password" link and reset your password.
If your account is locked due to multiple attempt of typed in the password, please contact IT Department to unlock your account. You can contact them at IT Helpdesk at: helpdesk@imu.edu.my
Click the ‘Yes’ button to proceed.

How to access AMBOSS v2

Dear students,

AMBOSS is an online learning resource for Basic and Clinical sciences.

AMBOSS resources has complimentary learning packages with question bank, learning cards, chalk talks, clinical skills videos, illustrations, images and much more to make learning medical concepts easy.

As you are aware that AMBOSS access has been provided to all medical students since June 2020. Medical students have been extensively using these resources along with their learning through the curriculum to enhance their knowledge.

We wish to see active use of the resources by the students and further get feedback on the its utility.

There will be series of info giving, briefing sessions and webinars in days to come for students to get familiar with AMBOSS.

You would have received a welcome email from AMBOSS to register and gain access to the resource.

Here is the Step by Step guide on How to Get AMBOSS registration for IMU Students and Faculty.

Click the link in the email or Go to www.amboss.com
Click LOGIN
Click LOG IN THROUGH YOUR INSTITUTION
Type IMU email ( ID with @student.imu.edu.my or imu.edu.my). It will lead to Microsoft M365 page login that is connected IMU account.
Enter your username and your current password
You will be prompted with MFA verification, to verify your login
After that, you will be redirected to AMBOSS webpage

There are TWO ways to check students' timetable.

ONE: MyIMU App

My IMU app is the primary platform for all IMU University students to check their up-to-date class timetable.

Here is how to get the My IMU app:

Step 1: Download the MyIMU app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

Step 2: Log in with your IMU credentials

Step 3: Browse through the features and look for Timetable.

TWO: eLearning Portal

The School Admin will upload your copy of Timetable to the eLearning portal and you can access it in your Cohort Page.

Please follow the steps below to check your timetable in the eLearning Portal.

You can search for your programme using the 'Quick Search' feature or simply click on your programme name to access the main page.

In some cases, you might forget your login password. Therefore, you are unable to log in to the portal successfully.

Please reset your password at this link https://aka.ms/sspr

Enter your student email address and provided captcha code.
Choose "I forgot my password". Then, click Next.
Choose your preferred verification method. You can verify with your phone number, Microsoft authenticator or personal email adress
Enter your new password, then click the “Finish” button.

Does not contain any part of your name
Cannot be identical to your previous password

Please follow these steps to log in to the ODL portal.

Please go to odl.imu.edu.my link
Step 2: On this page, click the "Log in" button

To start login, click on the "Login with IMU e-mail" button.

Type in your IMU email address: Example for IMU staff: abcdefgh@imu.edu.my Example for IMU student: a. 00000012345@student.imu.edu.my b. ijklmnop@student.imu.edu.my

Then, click the "Next" button

Proceed by typing in your password. This password is the same password that you use to log in to Office 365, IMU Computer and other services. Then, click the "Sign in" button to continue.

How to make submission/resubmission in the TURNITIN?

This guide is applicable for the submission to the TURNITIN which permitting students to make resubmission before the due date.

The purpose of permitting the resubmission is to giving the students chance to update their report contents from more similar into more original contents. The resubmission allowing students with highest similarity percentage to update their report contents and resubmit for a lower similarity result.

The resubmission steps are same with the first time you make the submission to the TURNITIN link submission.

For example, this student already submitted and resulting the high of similarity percentage. After updates made in the report file, this student can make resubmission by clicking the button "Submit Paper" as shown below:

Then, just fill in the required space and upload the updated report file.

Please wait for a few minutes/hours for the new similarity results generated/refreshed.

You are allowed three resubmission attempts where the Similarity Report will generate immediately. After three attempts, you'll have to wait 24 hours before a new Similarity Report can be generated.

Once you have made a submission, you will be unable to delete it from the assignment. Resubmitting will overwrite a previous submission.

For resubmission, if you did not see that "Submit Paper" button, there are two main reasons:
