How to add a new materials/resources/activities in the course page

This feature is only applicable for Faculty members who already have access roles such as Coordinator, Lecturer, and Staff.


Please follow the instruction and guides below:

  • Before you start the editing, you must have the rights to edit and access the page in the portal. If you do not have the rights, please request by raise a ticket in eLearning Eticketing system in this link http://elearnzone.imu.edu.my/eticketing/open.php and select help topic: Access to teaching module.
  • For faculty with editing rights in their teaching module, you can add teaching materials and activities such as:


  1. Lecture notes (Words, Powerpoint Slides, PDF, Txt)
  2. Excel file
  3. Website links
  4. Assignment Submission
  5. Quiz
  6. Forum Discussion
  7. Questionnaire
  8. Survey
  9. Poll
  10. Video (Using embed method from YouTube)
  11. Interactive contents (H5P, Scorm)
  12. and many more.


Below is the steps for you to add a new materials and activities in your module page:

  1. Log in to the portal and open your teaching module.
  2. In the page, click on "Edit mode" button at the top right side of the page.
  3. Go to the section/topic that you want to add a new materials/activities.
  4. Click the plus button to see the option of "Activity or resource" and "Subsection"
  5. And select the "Activity or resource" option.
  6. A pop up menu appear and you may choose what kind of activity and resources you want to add to your section/topic. You can search it by key in the key word in the search box, or you can sort them by Activities or Resources. Just tick on button of an activity or resource you want to add. After that, click "Add" button. You can click on the star to make it as a favorite.
