I received an error while uploading an i-Lecture to the Moodle portal. What should I do?

If you encounter an error while uploading an i-Lecture to Moodle, check the following:

1. Ensure the i-Lecture is published for LMS

Before uploading, make sure the i-Lecture has been published using the correct LMS publishing settings in Articulate.

2. Use a supported e-learning standard

When publishing the i-Lecture, select a format supported by Moodle:

  • SCORM 2004
  • SCORM 1.2 (Recommended if required by Moodle)
  • xAPI (Tin Can API)
  • AICC

3. Upload the correct ZIP package

Ensure you upload the published ZIP file generated by Articulate.
Please ensure that:
✅ The ZIP file contains the published course files.
❌ Do not extract the ZIP file before uploading.
❌ Do not upload the folder containing the ZIP file.

4. Check the file size

If the upload fails:

  • Confirm that the file size does not exceed the Moodle upload limit.
  • If the file is too large, contact the eLearning Team for assistance.

5. Try publishing and uploading again

Re-publish the i-Lecture, create a new ZIP package, and upload it again to Moodle.

If the issue persists after completing the above steps, please contact the eLearning Team for further assistance.
