What is AMBOSS, and who can access it at IMU?

AMBOSS is an online medical learning platform. It combines a medical knowledge library, a question bank and clinical reference tools to support study, exam preparation and teaching.

Who is eligible at IMU?

Under IMU’s current access arrangement, AMBOSS is provided to:

Active students in the Medicine and Dentistry programmes who are included in IMU’s AMBOSS access list.
Eligible faculty members who have been allocated access.

Having an IMU email address alone does not guarantee access. Student eligibility is based on the active student information supplied for the subscription, and access may change when a student leaves an eligible programme.

How do I activate my access?

Use your IMU email address and follow the IMU AMBOSS activation guide. New users can select Log in through your institution; existing AMBOSS users can connect their account under Manage account → Contact details & settings → Institution sign-in

Cannot access AMBOSS? If you have completed the IMU sign-in steps but your institutional licence does not appear, sign out and back in. If the issue continues, contact the eLearning Helpdesk so your eligibility can be checked.
