Unable to Assess Peer

Here are three common reasons why you may be unable to assess your peer in the Peer Assessment activity.

  1. You Did Not Complete the Submission Phase

You must complete the Submission Phase before you are allowed to assess your peers.

Solution

Please contact your lecturer and request that the activity dates be rescheduled. Once the new dates are updated, you will be able to complete the activity again.

  1. Your Peer Did Not Complete the Submission Phase

If your assigned peer did not submit their work, you may not be able to access their assessment.

Solution
  • Skip the unavailable peer and continue assessing the other assigned peers. After completing your assessments, inform your lecturer about the peers you could not assess.
  • Your marks will not be affected if those peers did not complete their submission or assessment.

  1. The Assessment Phase Deadline Has Passed

The assessment period may already be closed after the due date.

Solution

Please contact your lecturer to request an extension of the assessment deadline. Once the deadline is extended, you will be able to continue the assessment phase.
