Extending Peer Assessment Deadlines
In the Peer Assessment activity, there are two important phases:
- Submission Phase – Declaration of Assessment
- Assessment Phase – Assess Peers
Steps to Extend the Deadline
- Log in to the eLearn Portal.
- Open your Peer Assessment activity.
- Click on the Settings.

- Go to the Availability section.
- Enable the date settings and update the required deadlines.

- If you extend the 1st Phase (Submission Deadline), you must also adjust the 2nd Phase (Assessment Deadline) because both phases are linked together.
- If you only want to extend the 2nd Phase, you only need to update the Deadline for Assessment.
- Do not set overlapping times between the phases.
- The dates may be the same.
- However, the time for the assessment phase must start after the submission deadline ends.
After updating the dates, make sure to tick:
- “Switch to the next phase after the submissions deadline”

Save Your Changes
Once all adjustments are completed:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Click Save and Display.
