How to upload a video to the Microsoft Stream / Clipchamp

Microsoft has unified Stream and Clipchamp into a single video experience in Microsoft 365. As part of this change, the Stream homepage now redirects to the Clipchamp homepage. For more information, refer HERE.



In Microsoft 365, uploading a video is now the same as uploading a file (since Stream is integrated with Clipchamp, OneDrive, and SharePoint).


Here’s a step-by-step guide for uploading a video to Microsoft Stream / Clipchamp:


  1. Go to office.com and sign in using your IMU email credentials. 
  2. In your Microsoft 365 dashboard, navigate to the bottom-left corner, click the App Launcher (grid icon).
  3. Click the Clipchamp app to go to the page.


  1. Click Upload a video link.


  1. Select your video file (or drag & drop).


  1. Click the **Upload **button once you have confirmed the video.


  1. Click 'Open' to view the video.
