How do I know the video is successfully uploaded?

🎥 Microsoft Stream (on SharePoint/Stream (on OneDrive))


✅ Signs upload is successful


  1. Video appears in the location
  • Check the SharePoint site / OneDrive folder where you uploaded it.
  • If the file is there, the upload succeeded.


  1. Thumbnail shows
  • Stream automatically generates a thumbnail preview.
  • If you see it → upload is complete.


  1. Status shows “Ready” (not processing)
  • Initially: Processing video
  • Final: playable with no status warning


✂️ Clipchamp


✅ Signs upload or import is successful


  1. Video appears in the Media tab
  • After uploading, it shows inside My media

  1. Video appears in Assets folder
  • You can click to Open Assets folder link after successfully upload.
  • You will be able to view the file inside the folder.




✅ Signs export or upload is successful


(when exporting finished video)

  1. Export reaches 100%
  2. You see: “Your video is ready to share” or “Export complete”
  3. Options appear:
  • Watch in browser
  • Share with people in organization
  • Copy link
  • Open file location
  • Save to your computer



✅ Quick rule: If you can see it + play it without errors, the upload/export is successful.
