How to access AMBOSS?
Dear students,
AMBOSS is an online learning resource for Basic and Clinical sciences.
AMBOSS resources has complimentary learning packages with question bank, learning cards, chalk talks, clinical skills videos, illustrations, images and much more to make learning medical concepts easy.
As you are aware that AMBOSS access has been provided to all medical students since June 2020. Medical students have been extensively using these resources along with their learning through the curriculum to enhance their knowledge.
We wish to see active use of the resources by the students and further get feedback on the its utility.
There will be series of info giving, briefing sessions and webinars in days to come for students to get familiar with AMBOSS.
You would have received a welcome email from AMBOSS to register and gain access to the resource.
Here is the Step by Step guide on How to Get AMBOSS registration for IMU Students and Faculty.
Click the link in the email or Go to www.amboss.com
Click LOGIN
If you have an AMBOSS account with the "IMU email”, Log in and go to Step No: 15
If you do not have an AMBOSS account with IMU Email or have an AMBOSS account with your personal email, follow steps no. 5 onwards.
Click “Register for Free” on the Welcome page
Type IMU email ( ID with @student.imu.edu.my or imu.edu.my)
Enter password you wish to use for AMBOSS
Re-enter the password
Click “Submit”
An email will be sent to your IMU email for you to confirm the free registration
Go to your IMU email and click the link to confirm registration.
You will be redirected to AMBOSS webpage
You need to enter more details like your full name, country, year of graduation etc. This is for the 1st time registration only. These details are for AMBOSS to know their subscribers.
After you complete, go to home page or Dashboard on AMBOSS webpage.
Go to “Accounts” or click Activate Account or Redeem a code.
Under “Campus Licence” Select the University
Select "International Medical University Faculty of Medicine and Health”
Click “Campus Licence”
You will be prompted to enter your IMU email
Enter IMU email ID and click “Campus Licence”
An email will now be sent to your IMU email to confirm the Campus Licence registration
Go to your IMU email and confirm that you are a student or Faculty from IMU
You will be redirected to AMBOSS webpage and now the registration is all done
You can now use AMBOSS features in full (Library, Question bank, chalkboard, videos, learning cards, performance analysis etc)
