How do I create a Kahoot quiz?

1. Sign in to your Kahoot! account.
2. Click Create from the top navigation bar to start a new Kahoot.

4. Choose one of the available creation methods:

• Blank canvas : Create from scratch by adding your own questions.
• Kahoot Creator : Generate a quiz with Ai
• PDF to Kahoot : Import questions from supported PDF file

5. Click Add to create more questions. Depending on your Kahoot subscription plan, you can choose from different question types in addition to the standard Quiz (multiple-choice) format.

Available question types may include:

• Quiz – Create multiple-choice questions with correct answers.
• True or False – Ask participants to decide whether a statement is true or false.
• Type Answer – Allow participants to enter a short answer.
• Puzzle – Ask participants to arrange answers in the correct order.
• Poll – Collect participants’ opinions, feedback, or preferences.
• Slide – Add information, explanations, or teaching content between questions.
• Word Cloud – Collect short responses and display them visually.
• Open-ended – Allow participants to provide longer written responses.

5. Edit the generated or manually created questions by adding answer options, images, videos, or other media.
6. Review the quiz settings, including timer, points, and question order.
7. Add a title and description, then save your Kahoot.
8. Once your Kahoot is ready, you can:

• Host it as a live game.
• Assign it as a self-paced challenge.
• Share it with other educators or students (depending on your sharing permissions).
