How do I add images as answer options in Kahoot?

Images can be added as answer options for the following Kahoot question types:


To add an image as an answer option:

  1. Open your Kahoot quiz in the editor.
  2. Add or edit a supported question type.
  3. Click the image icon beside the answer field.

  1. Upload an image from your device or select an image from the Kahoot image library.
  3. Save your changes.



Image requirements:

  • Supported formats: PNG, JPEG, or GIF
  • Colour mode: RGB
  • Maximum file size: 5 MB
  • Maximum dimensions: 3264 × 3264 pixels


Note: Avoid using highly detailed images as answer options, as they may not display clearly due to size limitations.
