# Why does Stream Home redirect to Clipchamp Home?

|| Microsoft has unified Stream and Clipchamp into a single video experience in Microsoft 365. As part of this change, the Stream homepage now redirects to the Clipchamp homepage.

# 🔍 What actually happened

Microsoft started a **major change in late 2024**:
* They decided to **combine:**
    * **Microsoft Stream** (video storage & playback)
    * **Clipchamp** (video creation & editing)
👉 Into **one single experience under the Clipchamp brand**

### ❓ Has Microsoft Stream been removed?

No. **Microsoft Stream is still available**, but its features (like video playback and storage) are now **integrated into Clipchamp and Microsoft 365**.
