# Student guide: Submit a video link online

1. **Upload your video to OneDrive.** Wait until the upload has finished. You can follow the [OneDrive upload guide](https://elearnzone.imu.edu.my/eticketing/scp/faq.php?id=133).
2. In OneDrive, select the video and click **Share**. Open the link settings and choose **Can view** so the lecturer cannot edit your file.
3. Choose a link that your lecturer can access, such as **People in IMU with the link**, then click **Apply** and **Copy link**. If your lecturer has instructed you to use **Anyone with the link**, select that option only if it is available. OneDrive sharing options may depend on IMU’s settings.
4. Open the relevant **Assignment** in the eLearn portal and click **Add submission**.
5. Paste the OneDrive link into the **Online text** box. On a Windows computer, you can press **Ctrl + V**.
6. Click **Save changes**. Check that the link appears on your assignment page and that your lecturer can open it.
7. Check your **Submission status**. If it says **Draft (not submitted)**, click **Submit assignment** and follow the confirmation steps. Your submission is complete when the status says **Submitted for grading**. The extra submit step depends on how the lecturer configured the assignment.

**Before the deadline:** Keep the video in OneDrive and do not remove its sharing access. If Moodle allows changes, use **Edit submission** to replace an incorrect link, then check the submission status again.
