# How to logging in to Turnitin Website

To begin using Turnitin, you must first log in. When you log in, Turnitin sets a cookie in your web browser to verify your access. 

Make sure your browser allows cookies from turnitin.com or turnitinuk.com.

If you just created a Turnitin account, you set your password during that process.

**Step 1:** Go to [https://turnitin.com](https://turnitin.com/).

**Step 2:** At the top right select the **Log In** button.

**Step 3:** Select **Log in as an instructor or student**.

**Step 4:** Enter the email address and password associated with the user profile. Then, select the **Log In** button.
