# How to check which students have not submitted an assignment

1. Log in to the **eLearn portal** and open your module.
2. Click the **assignment submission link** you want to check.
3. Select the **Submissions** tab at the top of the assignment page.

4. Find the **Status** filter above the student list. Choose **Not submitted** to show students who have not submitted the assignment.

5. Review the **Status** column for each student in the filtered list.


**Note:** If a student’s status is **Draft (not submitted)**, they may have saved their work but have not completed the final submission step. This applies when the assignment requires students to click **Submit assignment**.
